Do you use the street, the body, the wall, the word, the noise, or the silence to tell stories?
Then this is your shot.

 

ATHENSHOT is an urban art initiative that invites creators, performers, thinkers, and makers to co-shape a living portrait of the city. Through a two-day program of exhibitions, performances, live art, poetic and urban interventions, workshops, and dialogues, we explore what Athens is—and what it can become—through the eyes of its artists.

We’re looking for works and actions that speak to:

• the pulse of the streets

• the stories of the people

• the layers of the city

• the tensions between memory and now

• and the radical potential of art as voice, presence, and change

 

We welcome proposals in all forms:

• Visual art (street art, illustration, mixed media, installations)

• Live painting & murals

• Performances (movement, spoken word, site-specific pieces)

• Sound, experimental music or sonic interventions

• Workshops (creative practices, upcycling, stencil art, participatory formats)

• Talks or discussions related to art, Athens, activism, and collective futures

Submission Deadline: 02.05.2025 Participation is free of charge.

Selected artists will receive visibility, production support, and join a vibrant network of creators shaping the cultural fabric of the city.

In select workshops and sales of limited art pieces, a portion of profits will support local community organizations participating in the event at Theotokopoulou Str. Villa.
